John Cena may be tough on the ring and on his other films, but nothing could have prepared him for his most challenging job yet: babysitting.
The former wrestling star for the WWE stars in Paramount Pictures’ comedy Playing With Fire.
As the straight-laced fire superintendent Jake Carson, Cena and his team of expert firefighters—composed of Keegan-Michael Key, John Leguizamo, and Tyler Mane—come to the rescue of three siblings caught in the path of an encroaching wildfire.
Unable to locate the children’s parents, the firefighters decided to look after them in their fire depot and did not expect what was to come. They literally had their lives and jobs upside down, and they quickly learn that kids—much like fires—are wild and unpredictable.
Directed by Andy Fickman (Race to Witch Mountain), Playing With Fire also stars Dennis Haybert and Judy Greer. Brianna Hildebrand, Christian Convery, and Finley Rose Slater also star as the adorable siblings who turn the world over for Cena and the gang.
Playing with Fire is distributed in the Philippines by United International Pictures through Columbia Pictures, and is set to be released in November.
